Actress Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen are preparing to welcome their first child together.
The couple announced the pregnancy on Friday, Dec. 12, sharing the news through a heartfelt video posted to both Instagram and Steinfeld’s Substack newsletter.
A snowy announcement
Steinfeld revealed the news in her Beau Society newsletter while reflecting on her 29 favorite moments from the past year to mark her 29th birthday.
At the end of the post, she shared a video showing the couple posing together in the snow. Steinfeld cradled her baby bump while Allen kissed her stomach. She later appeared wearing a fleece top with the word “Mother” printed across the front.
As the video ended, the camera panned out to show the couple holding hands beside a small snowman. The moment quickly spread across social media.
Shortly after, Steinfeld and Allen shared the same clip in a joint Instagram post. Allen simply commented, “I love you ❤️.”
A private relationship enters a new chapter
Although Steinfeld and Allen are both high-profile figures, they have largely kept their relationship private.
The pair were first linked in 2023, but they did not go public on Instagram until July 2024. They later confirmed their engagement in November 2024, sharing a photo of Allen proposing beneath a floral arch.
They married on May 31 in Santa Barbara, California, surrounded by close friends and family.
In a June edition of her newsletter, Steinfeld described the wedding weekend as “magical.”
“It felt like love was running through the veins of every tree at our gorgeous venue,” she wrote. “Our family and friends coming together amplified it.”

In a recent interview with Bustle, Steinfeld spoke candidly about married life and her future with Allen.
“Life makes sense,” she said. “Everything makes sense.”
When asked whether she was thinking about having children, Steinfeld answered without hesitation: “Of course.”
She added that she feels grateful every day to have found her partner.
“I literally thank God every day that I found my person,” she said. “It’s the greatest thing in the world.”
What’s next for the couple
Steinfeld continues to earn praise for her work in film and television, including her recent performance in Sinners, which has gained attention during awards season.
Meanwhile, Allen remains one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks as the Bills continue their playoff push.
Now, the couple is stepping into a new role together — parenthood.
