The World Karate Federation (WKF) has officially renewed its partnership with Bestsport, ensuring continued support for the globally recognized Karate One events, including the Premier League, Series A, and Youth League tournaments.

The agreement was signed during the Karate World Championships in Cairo by WKF President Antonio Espinós and Bestsport representatives Dmitriy Podporin and Natalia Kisliakova. The renewal extends the collaboration through 2026 and 2027, reinforcing both organisations’ commitment to the growth and professionalisation of international karate.


A Successful Partnership Drives Karate’s Growth

The renewed agreement comes after a highly successful first year of collaboration. During 2025, the Karate One circuit attracted 14,971 unique athletes from 127 National Federations, highlighting its scale and influence in the karate world.

The season included:

  • 4 Karate One Premier League events
  • 4 Karate One Series A competitions
  • 5 Karate One Youth League tournaments

This global reach ensures karate athletes of all levels have access to high-quality competition, while federations benefit from consistent exposure and professional event management.


Bestsport Remains an Official Sponsor

As part of the two-year extension, Bestsport will continue as an Official Sponsor of Karate One events, with brand visibility spanning:

  • Event signage and venue branding
  • Official digital platforms, including the WKF website
  • WKF social media channels

The partnership also includes ongoing digital activations, ensuring Bestsport maintains a strong presence across the global karate community.
