Mike Perry delivered one of the most brutal performances of the night Saturday at MVP MMA on Netflix, overwhelming Nate Diaz with nonstop pressure before the fight was stopped after Round 2.
The welterweight clash took place inside the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles and brought together two of combat sports’ most recognizable action fighters. Diaz entered the cage for his first MMA fight in years, while Perry arrived riding momentum from his rise outside the UFC through bare-knuckle fighting.

Perry immediately charged forward throwing heavy punches, front kicks, elbows, and knees while forcing Diaz backward. One of the biggest moments came when Perry launched Diaz to the canvas during a wild exchange before continuing the attack on the ground.
By the end of the round, Diaz was badly cut and covered in blood as cageside doctors examined the damage between rounds.
The fight was officially stopped before Round 3 could begin.
