“You are a damn good striker for MMA that’s it,” Garcia wrote on X. “You wouldn’t be sipping on tea after our fight you would be eating thru a straw after our fight. Stay in your lane. I’ll gladly stay in mine.”
The exchange escalated even further after Topuria responded aggressively.

Topuria later accused Garcia of building confidence off performance-enhancing drugs, referencing Garcia’s failed drug test controversy from 2024.
“The biggest win of your career came with steroids,” Topuria posted. “So that’s where your confidence comes from? Interesting.”
Garcia answered back by saying MMA fighters are “all on the juice” before telling Topuria they could settle things after his upcoming September fight.
